As mentioned in my earlier post, Ben, Jack-Jack, and I headed west the second week of June to visit family. We made a quick (three day) stop in Utah, and then spent a week in Idaho.
Utah highlights: watching the OKC Thunder beat the Spurs and advance to the NBA Finals; going down the alpine slide and coaster in Park City; trying cake bites at the Sweet Tooth Fairy; visiting Ben's 94 year-old Grandpa and his Grandma; going to the dentist; grilling in the backyard; swimming; celebrating our 4 year anniversary by stopping by all the places that made our special day so special; spending time with Ben's parents.
Idaho highlights: playing tennis; going to the Cherry Festival; going to church; watching Game 1 of the Final (the only good game) at Buffalo Wild Wings; hiking around Sagehen; playing flag football; picking strawberries and cherries; making and eating pie; watching the men install a new floor in the G-ma suite; sharing the G-ma suite with Eric' TV and Playstation; ordering secret drinks off the Roe Ann's menu; roasting s'mores and starbursts in the orchard; running the 2 mile "fun run"; watching Ben lose his breakfast after the "fun run"; spending time with nieces, nephews, siblings, and parents.
We obviously had a fantastic time. Jack-Jack enjoyed being West of the Mississippi for the time in his life, and hopefully the family enjoyed meeting Jack-Jack.
Rather than bombing my blog with 40 photos, I decided to post them in a Facebook album. Click link to consume.

Sad that we couldn't be a part of this Utaho trip! But it sure brings back memories of our too brief time in Emmett!
