A Bite of the Big Apple

Here's a taste of what we did when we weren't watching tennis over Labor Day weekend.

My happiest of happy places.

Falah ate a Philly Cheesesteak the size of his head the first night we were in town.

View from the Staten Island ferry.

Our delicioso Brazilian brunch.

On Broadway... Mama Mia was an excellent musical set on a Greek island to the tune of Abba. Doesn't get better than that. We had a Turkish rickshaw driver take our picture in front of the sign...

...Much to our surprise, we bumped into our Turkish rickshaw driver again on Fifth Avenue the next day. It was fate, and we had to take a ride! He dropped us at St. Patrick's Cathedral.

View from Ellie's rooftop.

Another view from Ellie's rooftop: Ground Zero.

Receiving subway directions from the expert.

Times Square

Ellie and Janell making Sunday dinner, which we ate on the rooftop.

Da group

Ben and Matt quite excited about Lombardi's pizza in Little Italy.

Grabbing Rice to Riches dessert and making an impulse buy on our way out of town.
