This morning Ben and I cleaned our church building. After finishing up, we rewarded ourselves with an impromptu date around Eastern Market. It's no secret that we love love love our neighborhood. Capitol Hill is simply the best place to live in DC. Georgetown is a close second. :) We walked around the market, ate lunch at Ben's favorite pizza place (We the pizza), and enjoyed a sweet treat at our new favorite place for dessert on the hill (Pitango Gelato). It turned out to be quite the American Italian dining experience. Fortunately, Ben was dressed appropriately.
