Arrived in Berlin just in time for New Years Eve. So...small towns are the place to be for the 4th of July and other such holidays, but after my '06 experience let me tell you...cities are THE place to be for New Years Eve. As one of the few people out and about at 10 AM on New Years Days, I captured a bit of the aftermath on camera (see below). It speaks to the night before.
